Welcome to the Operation Safeguard website created by a 10th grade volunteer at Park Tudor School!

June 14-18, 2010, Disaster Strikes! Apply before May 19, 2010 to become an operative.
Cost: Free to participants who are selected. Transportation
to and from the academy each day is the responsibility
of the participant’s parents or guardians.
Who: Current 7th through 11th grade students from central Indiana.
What: When disasters or local emergencies strike, youth need
to be prepared. Operation Safeguard is a 6-day immersive learning
summer leadership academy for central Indiana high
school youth. The training and exercises will help equip
teens to be active and productive participants in
disaster preparedness and response, with a special focus 
on helping to protect children impacted by disasters.

Where: Park Tudor School at 7200 N. College Ave.
Indianapolis
When: June 14-18 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. plus a graduation
ceremony and reception on Saturday.
Applications Due:
No later than May 19th, 2010. Participants will
be notified by June 1st.
